INTRODUCING AMERICAN RACER SOUTHERN SWING WEEKEND SEPTEMBER 29-30; BACK-TO-BACK HIGH-PAYING EVENTS & WEEKEND POINT FUND ESTABLISHED
Bridgeport Speedway and Georgetown Speedway have teamed up for a two-day American Racer Southern Swing Weekend for big-block/small-block Modifieds on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30.
On Friday night (September 29), the big-block/small-block Modifieds will roar around Georgetown Speedway in a $3,000-to-win, $250-to-start 30-lap main.
Then, on Saturday night (September 30), attention turns to the five-eighths-mile at Bridgeport Speedway for Dirty Jersey 5 featuring the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By VP big-block/small-block Modifieds offering $5,000 to win, $1,000 for 10th and $400 just to take the green flag in addition to valuable STSS Velocita South Region points with only two events remaining on the series.
In addition to back-to-back, high-paying races, a two-night point fund totaling $1,500 has been established for the weekend and will be paid out to the top-five as such: 1) $500; 2) $400; 3) $300; 4) $200; 5) $100. Additional contingency awards could be added as the weekend approaches.
