Mid-Atlantic Promotions Now In Charge Of Delaware’s Georgetown Speedway, Plans March 28th Opener
Georgetown, DE - Georgetown Speedway is entering a new era on the eve of its 75th Anniversary Season, with the Ken Adams led Mid-Atlantic Promotions, LLC now in charge of promoting the First State facility. Changes are on the horizon to continue improving the overall experience for fans and racers.
The first step in the new era was to jumpstart off-season discussions with Delaware International Speedway and Bridgeport Speedway. Those discussions thus far have been beneficial and are ones that Mid-Atlantic Promotions feels will pay dividends to all involved for the upcoming race season.
Conversations with the neighboring facilities have revolved around common rule packages amongst the facilities, as well as complimentary schedules that give the racers & fans plenty of options without having to choose between attending one facility or another.
A significant change in the rules for 2025 will be the return of the RUSH Late Model Series rules for the Crate Late Models and the adoption of the RUSH Sportsman Modified Engine Program in the 602 Sportsman Modified Division.
